Cloud Security Professional
AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner · Google Cybersecurity Certificate
I build and secure cloud infrastructure — from IAM least-privilege architectures and OIDC pipelines to automated security monitoring and incident response workflows. Five years in the electrical trades taught me that safety-first thinking and zero-error discipline aren't optional. I brought both into cloud security.
Background
I transitioned into cloud security from five years as a journeyman electrical apprentice with IBEW Local 302 — where I specialized in commercial and industrial electrical systems and operated under strict safety codes and zero-error standards.
That background shapes how I approach security work. I look at an AWS VPC diagram the way I looked at an industrial electrical blueprint — methodically mapping architecture, identifying risk, and securing the flow before anything goes wrong.
I'm targeting cloud security, SOC analyst, and junior cloud engineering roles — with a focus on the Northern Virginia/DC federal and DoD market and California-based opportunities.
Work
Hands-on cloud security project covering IAM least-privilege design, S3 exposure simulation and remediation, EC2 network auditing, CloudTrail investigation, and a secretless CI/CD pipeline via GitHub Actions OIDC.
A scheduled GitHub Actions pipeline that searches multiple job boards, applies multi-layer filtering (experience, location, salary, relevance), tracks seen jobs, and delivers a daily HTML email digest.
An event-driven file management system that detects new media files, triggers a tkinter GUI for classification, renames files with structured naming, and sends real-time Discord webhook notifications.
Automated data collection system pulling player statistics from the Riot Games API and tracker.gg, logging performance history to CSV, and generating weekly reports on a nightly schedule.
